MONEK-YUG Plc. is located on a site of 106 dka, and disposes a covered production area of 40,500 sq.m. at which the following integrated production units are set apart:

• Rock Drilling Tools Production Department
• Mining and Floatation Equipment Production Department
• Foundry
• Industrial Rubber Products Production Department
• Instruments' Prototype Production Department
• Engineering Department

All the production departments dispose quality equipment enabling the production processes to be carried out in accordance with the international quality standards. This is giving us possibility to be flexible and provide complete range of services to satisfy the specific production needs of our clients.

Rock Drilling Tools Production Department is fully equipped with all the necessary equipment in order to secure high quality production technology of rock drilling accessories. We dispose machines and apparatuses as follows:

• Deep-drilling machine by "SIG" (Switzerland);
• Revolver automatons, digital-programming machines and multi-position aggregates by "WARD" (U.K.), "VDF" (Germany), "WALMET" (Finland).
• Horizontal forging machines by "M. FRIBERG" (Sweden);
• Spray crushing aggregate by "GEORG FISHER" (Switzerland);
• Heat treatment conveyor by "ASEA" (Sweden);
• Soldering of hard-alloy plates for the drilling bits and integral steels is performed in specially equipped sector equipped with high frequency aggregates by "ASEA" (Sweden);
• Thermal processing sector, equipped by "AICHELIN" (Austria), disposes two vertical furnaces for gas carbonisation, capable to perform heat treatment of steels up to 5 meters long, under a simultaneous control.

The department disposes also a line for phosphatization of instruments and a laboratory in which we carry complete technical control over the whole production cycle.

Mining and Floatation Equipment Production Department is split into two separate production units: mechanical department and fitting (assembling) department. Here are carried out all the mechanical treatment, processing, welding and production of details and assemblies needed for mounting the machines. They both dispose following equipment providing production of equipment for mining, ore dressing, floatation, metallurgy and civil construction enterprises:

• Lathes (type DIP200, DIP300, DIP500) for straight turning of pieces of up to 4,800 mm length and 1,000 mm diameter;
• Universal cutters with digital control
• Gear cutting and gear-drilling cutters for milling gear wheels (vertical-teeth or skew-teeth) up to 1,400 mm diameter and module 17;
• Horizontal boring machines for processing details of up to 1,400-1,600 mm;
• Vertical lathe for processing details of up to 4,000 mm details;
• Treatment centers MC32, DECKEL-DC40;
• Ending machines for sheets bending (for sheets of up to 12 mm thickness and 2,500 mm length);
• Shafts for sheets bending (for sheets of up to 32 mm thickness and 4,500 mm length);
• Grinding equipment for flat surface grinding up to 600-1,000 mm, grinding shafts and axes up to 150 mm diameter and up to 1,500 mm length;
• Mechanical hack-saws, cut-off disc saws and guillotines for cutting off round steel bars of up to 400 mm thickness and for cutting up sheets of up to 20 mm thickness.

The Foundry is equipped for steel and iron casting (of pieces up to 800 kg. weight) and for non-ferrous metals casting (of pieces up to 80 kg.). Its capacity is 600 t of casting.

Industrial Rubber Products Production Department is performing vulcanization of some machines details; spare parts, mills' and crushers' details. It disposes press equipment for vulcanization of products of up to 1,300-1,500 mm dimensions.

Instruments' Prototype Production Department is producing the initial pilot project devices; accessories or assembled machines in order to be prior tested and approved before to be released to serial production. It assists the implementation of the technological innovative requirements for all kind of details, instruments, facilities and machines produced by MONEK-YUG. This department disposes all the necessary equipment to fulfil enough securely the above stated task.

MONEK-YUG is also very proud with its Engineering Department in which qualified and highly educated engineers work. They develop construction, design and technology of the machines, tools, devices and equipment produced by MONEK-YUG. A big part of the products listed in our production list are completely developed and implemented by our specialists from the Engineering Department. Our engineers are always open to provide improvement solutions in order to assist our clients to enhance their production efficiency and to solve their problems.
